Seattle, WA – November 3, 2026 – Seattle Reign FC clinched a place in the 2026 playoffs on Sunday, November 1st with 1-0 win over the Orlando Pride. Jordyn Bugg netted the game winner for Seattle.
Sunday was also dedicated to the Reign’s Captain, Jess Fishlock, who announced her retirement from the National Women’s Soccer League after 14 seasons.
The 2021 NWSL MVP, and three time NWSL Shield winner received a standing ovation in her final regular-season home appearance by the home crowd in attendance at Lumen Field during a special ceremony held in her honor.
Fishlock who has spent her entire career with the Reign has a total of 49 goals and holds a record as the all-time club assist leader with over 30.
Known to fans as the “Tiny Dragon”, Fishlock has won titles on the international stage including the UEFA Women’s Champions League (with Lyon), two Dutch Eredivisie titles, and four Australian W-League championships.
Surrounded by the support of her teammates and head coach Laura Harvey, Fishlock spoke to the crowd to thank Reign fans for their dedication.
