Seattle’s next test comes Saturday, October 24, against San Diego FC at Snapdragon Stadium at 7:30 PM PT. In the current standings the Sounders are 11-10-9 (42 points, 7th in the West), and San Diego: 8-12-10 (12th in the West). In their last meeting Seattle and San Diego drew 1-1 at Lumen Field on May 9. Sounders tied things up in the 80th minute with another late goal from Cristian Roldan.
With their playoff hopes in their own hands, the Sounders will look to turn their late-season determination into crucial points and strengthen their postseason position.
