Seattle, WA – September 18, 2026 – The Seattle Storm celebrated its 2026 Believe in Women honorees during half-time of Thursday night’s home game against the Las Vegas Aces.
The annual Force4Change initiative was previously called Inspiring Women Night which has honored more than 80 women whose leadership and work and contributions to the community have created opportunities for women and girls to thrive.
Michelle Dean is the Co-founder of Bonhomie Coffee , a Haitian-inspired mobile café. Dean directed her donation to P4H Global.
Olympia Edwards is the Founder and CEO of Project Girl which empowers young women of color. Edwards directed her donation to Project Girl.
Olu Fagbemiro is the CEO of Aneden Consulting and founder or Aneden Gives which supports families facing financial barriers to fertility treatments.
Feleata Ma’ae is the Founder of Poly Drip that celebrates Pacific Islander culture. Ma’ae directed her donation toward her business and heritage-uplifting work.
The annual event started in 2006 and honors non-profits, women owned small business’ and organizations in the Puget Sound region that amplify the four pillars of Force4Change.
The Storm fell to the Aces 114-77 and hit the road for two more games including the final contest with Vegas on Sunday at 6 PM PDT.
The final home game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23rd against the Dallas Wings at 7 PM PST. It’s also the team’s Fan Appreciation Night.
