TACOMA, WA – June 9, 2026 — Cal Raleigh hit two home runs, including a grand slam, to lead the Tacoma Rainiers to a dominant 15-3 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes in Tuesday afternoon’s series opener at Cheney Stadium.

The Mariners slugger is wrapping up rehab from an oblique strain that placed him on injured reserve for a couple of weeks. Despite the wild winds and early start time, fans lined up early for the 11:35am matinee hoping to score a photo or have the “Big Dumper” sign a ball.

Raleigh finished 2-for-3 with two home runs, six RBIs, and two runs scored. His first blast marked his first home run with the Rainiers since May 3, 2022.
The Mariners catcher is expected to continue his rehab assignment through the remainder of the week before returning to Seattle. He is projected to rejoin the club for its June 16 game against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Rainiers are the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and are currently in fifth place in the Pacific Coast League West with 26 wins and 38 losses.
