June 8, 2026 – Everett, Wash. — Seattle Mariners MVP and star catcher/designated hitter Cal Raleigh made a highly anticipated rehab appearance with the Everett AquaSox on Sunday, June 8, delighting a sold-out crowd of 4,203 fans at Everett Memorial Stadium. Tickets for the game sold out in a record 90 minutes last week.

Raleigh went 1-for-3 against the visiting Eugene Emeralds, highlighted by a 107 mph flyout and a single in his third at-bat before exiting the game early as part of his rehabilitation plan.

The appearance marked Raleigh’s first game action since being sidelined with a right oblique strain. Returning to the organization where his professional career began, Raleigh wore his former AquaSox jersey number, 33, during the outing.

A fan favorite in Everett, Raleigh played 38 games for the AquaSox during the 2018 season, batting .288 with 10 doubles, eight home runs, and 29 RBIs. He was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft later that year.

Despite Raleigh’s return, the AquaSox fell to the Eugene Emeralds, 3-2, in the finale of the six-game series.

Raleigh is scheduled to continue his rehabilitation assignment with the Tacoma Rainiers on Tuesday, June 10, in an 11:35 a.m. matinee against the Albuquerque Isotopes. Tickets for the game have already sold out.
