July 20, 2026 – Seattle, WA – The Seattle Storm hosted the league-leading Minnesota Lynx for its annual Hello Kitty Night. Fans donned vibrant hot pink attire and waved pink Hello Kitty flags in support of their team.
The Storm successfully recorded 13 three-pointers during the game; however, the Lynx emerged victorious with a score of 105-102 in the first of two contests between the teams this week.
Monday’s game marked the first match at Climate Pledge Arena since July 4th and served as a personal reunion for Storm guard Natisha Hiedeman, who previously played two seasons with the Lynx.
Hiedeman signed a two-year, $1.5 million contract to serve as a starting guard for Seattle. She also reunited with her former teammate, Courtney Williams, fondly formerly known as her “Stud Bud.” Courtney Williams combined for 30 of Minnesota’s 37 field goals.
Before tip-off, Domique Malonga was honored as the only Storm player nominated for this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.
