Excitement filled the air hours before the parade began. Devoted fans claimed their spots as early as 6 a.m., with some camping out overnight to ensure a front-row view of the champions.

The crisp 50-degree weather was nearly 20 degrees warmer than the frigid low-30s temperatures during the team’s last victory parade in 2014.

The celebration kicked off at 10 AM at Lumen Field, where 50,000 roaring fans gathered for the official presentation of the Lombardi Trophy.

Cheers echoed throughout the stadium as players hoisted the trophy high, a shining symbol of perseverance and dominance. Many fans remained in their seats afterward, watching the parade unfold on the stadium’s big screens.

Following the ceremony, players and their families boarded double-decker buses and made their way down the more than two-mile parade route along 4th Avenue. Seattle’s color guard and the Seahawk’s drum line Blue Thunder started off the procession showered by blue and green confetti.

Blitz, the Seahawks’ high-flying mascot, entertained the sea of fans in spectacular style, with fireworks bursting from his bus to ignite the crowd’s energy even further.

The Sea Gals kept spirits soaring, waving pom-poms and leading thousands in thunderous “Sea-Hawks!” chants that reverberated through downtown.

As coach Mike Macdonald and owner Jody Allen passed by, cheers swelled, but when the players arrived atop military vehicles, the noise reached a deafening crescendo.

Fans waved flags, held handmade signs, and captured the once-in-a-lifetime moment as their heroes rolled past.

The two-hour celebration also featured appearances by Seahawks legends such as: Lofa Tatupu and Richard Sherman, along with Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson.

For one brilliant February morning, Seattle stood united as “12 As One” celebrating a championship season that will be etched into the city’s history forever.
